ITINERARY OF YOUR STAY

All our stays are customizable according to your availability and wishes… Usually from 5 to 8 days. By arriving in the morning in Windhoek, you can start hunting that very afternoon!

Typical stay: Arrival day, reception and transfer from Windhoek airport (2.5-hour drive), check-in, meals, and if possible, a first outing to scout the biotope and meet your professional guide after checking the rifle. Dinner and overnight stay.
Hunting days: Each morning, a hunting objective is planned with your guide. Around 7 am, breakfast and departure for hunting with your professional guide and trackers. Hunting is done exclusively by tracking and stalking (no shooting from the 4x4), return to the lodge for lunch or a quick meal in the field, resuming hunting all afternoon, and in the evening, quality meals by the fire… and endless conversations…!
Departure day: Transfer to the airport after breakfast or during the day.

GAME & TROPHIES

In our area in Namibia, you can hunt all the iconic antelopes of Namibia. Hunting pressure is intentionally kept low to allow the animals to mature… Big trophies guaranteed! No shooting from the 4x4 with us, only tracking and stalking hunts.

Greater Kudu, Eland, Oryx, Blue and Black Wildebeest, Bushnel and Mountain Zebra, Sable Antelope, Nyala, Lechwe, Blesbok, Impala, Springbok, Hartebeest, Waterbuck, Warthog, Steenbok, Duiker… And for those hunters who desire, the felines: Leopard, Cheetah, Brown Hyena, and Caracal….

YOUR ACCOMMODATION

What can be said about your lodge, except… sheer luxury.
Large rooms of 30 to 40 square meters (single or double), private bathroom, European and American electrical outlets… A large open and friendly area for meals and evening discussions by the fire… High-quality, plentiful, and varied meals… Dinner with your guides and the property's staff. Guaranteed conviviality!!!
Daily laundry service (no need to bring many clothes!), permanent Wi-Fi, and phone signal at the lodge.

WEAPONS & EQUIPMENT

No problem importing your weapon into Namibia. Customs takes a maximum of ten minutes… 60 bullets maximum. Please note that we also have 5 rifles available on-site for rent, calibers 30.06, 375, and 243.
For clothing: Light green or sand-colored clothes, walking shoes, hat or cap, sunglasses, sunscreen, lip balm… and a small backpack. Don't forget that we have a daily laundry service! Don't overpack…

TO GET TO THE AREA

Many flights connect to the capital Windhoek. From Europe, we recommend departing from Frankfurt (direct overnight flight) or from Paris (with a stopover). This will allow you to settle into the lodge by late morning and start hunting in the afternoon of your arrival day.
We take care of you from your arrival at the airport, round-trip transfers included in our rate.

TAXIDERMY

The first preparation of your trophies is done on-site and is included in the harvesting fees. However, if you want one or more cape trophies, the Namibian taxidermist will take care of tanning the skins, performing taxidermy if you wish, or sending them to your usual taxidermist. Our service providers for export and import are reliable and work within a "standard" timeframe.

Hunting Period
from February to November

In Namibia, the weather is mild. Blue skies, sun almost permanently. You will be in the Southern Hemisphere, so the seasons are reversed: Winter in July-August, Summer between November and February… Feel free to plan your stay between February and May, then September and November!

The best time to hunt antelopes in Namibia is generally during the dry season, which extends from February to November.

Hunting Zones

Located just a 2-hour drive from Windhoek airport, Hunting Pleasure and its Namibian partner of 18 years will welcome you and ensure you have an unforgettable stay. Located at the gates of Botswana, our 55,000-hectare territory, relatively flat and quite sandy, will allow you to make great stalks. By leaving Europe in the evening, you will be hunting on the afternoon of your arrival day!

TOURISM

Namibia is a large, beautiful country. A place to discover or rediscover. Between the North, South, West, and East, the landscapes are completely different. We highly recommend spending a few days relaxing and exploring. We can assist you with that… However, Windhoek, the capital, is a modern city with little real interest.

OBSERVERS NO-HUNTER

Namibia is one of the ideal destinations for a family and friends' getaway. Observers are welcome. They can join the hunt or enjoy the lodge and relax by the pool. They can also take numerous photos or videos, walk on well-marked hiking trails, or go horseback riding on the property…
Or even, upon request, visit nearby villages, explore the Kalahari Desert…
Special rates are available for teenagers to discover this beautiful country at a lower cost.
