ITINERARY OF YOUR STAY
Given the high densities of the territories selected over the years by the Hunting Pleasure team, based in Hungary, we recommend a typical stay of 2 days of hunting (2 or 3 nights depending on your arrival time). Two days of hunting (4 outings) are enough to harvest the desired fallow deer trophy!
No matter the period, between early October and early November, the densities are so high. The only constraint is the annual quota determined by territory! Hunting is exclusively by stalking in flat, often sandy terrain.
Typical stay: Arrival day, welcome at Budapest airport or directly at the territory. If you arrive in the middle of the day, the first hunting outing will be in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay.
Hunting days: 2 days of hunting 1x1 practically all day long, depending on the intensity of the rut. Dinner and overnight stay. Return on the evening of the 3rd day or the following morning.
If you wish, there is the possibility of daytime hunting for roe deer selection and/or hares in neighboring territories.
GAME & TROPHIES
In October (fallow deer rutting season), you will primarily hunt a fallow deer with a very large trophy (at least 3.5kg or 4kg - Silver and Gold CIC). During each outing, you will have several shooting opportunities, although your professional guide will only authorize shooting at animals aged 10 years and older.
During the stalking, you will see "exceptional" fallow deer, many with trophies exceeding 4kg, CIC Gold medal. Among the top 10 CIC world records, six fallow deer are Hungarian... Your trophy will necessarily be evaluated by the official scoring service (Hungarian law), which ensures fairness in weight, CIC points, and therefore price!
YOUR ACCOMMODATION
The Hunting Pleasure team has selected several territories over the years. Within each of them, beautiful hunting lodges with all the necessary comforts for an excellent stay.
Generally, we offer accommodation in a single room, with half board (coffee, tea in the morning before hunting, and especially a large and hearty breakfast upon return around 11 am. Dinner in the evening after hunting).
WEAPONS & EQUIPMENT
Importing your weapons into Hungary is easy. No prior request is needed; you only need your European Firearms Pass or SIA. On-site, we always have several rifles, all suitable for hunting large fallow deer, and you will have the option to rent one.
During the fallow deer rut in October, the weather is still nice (15-20°C during the day). However, fog is possible, bringing some humidity… light hunting clothes for stalking. Jacket and sweater for the morning and evening.
TO GET TO THE HUNTING AREA
By plane, the destination airport is Budapest. Many flights connect to the Hungarian capital daily from Europe and everywhere in the world. Only low-cost airlines do not accept weapons (except EasyJet). The flight takes about 2 hours from Europe. Upon arrival in Budapest, you can either rent a car at the airport or use our transfer service to your hunting area (approximately 2h15 drive).
By car, it's mostly highway from Europe except for the last few kilometers. Regardless of the territory we choose together, plan for about 1500/1700 km from Western Europe.
TAXIDERMY
The first preparation of your trophy/trophies is included in our prices. However, if you want your trophy as a cape, you can take the skin of your fallow deer with you for your usual taxidermist or ask us to do the taxidermy in Hungary.

Established in Hungary since its inception, the Hunting Pleasure team began scouting to select the best territories for Large Fallow Deer nearly twenty years ago. Hungary is known for having very high densities but above all the largest fallow deer trophies in the world.
Over the years, Hunting Pleasure has managed to sign 3 partnership contracts with 3 excellent territories:
- In southeast Hungary (2h15 from Budapest), a state territory - quota of 80 trophy fallow deer, 20 selective fallow deer, 200 does and young. Trophies from 3.5kg to 5kg. Accommodation in a hunting lodge with 10 rooms on the territory. 3 professional guides.
- South of Budapest (1h15 drive), a state territory - quota of 100 trophy fallow deer, 30 selective fallow deer, 300 does and young. Trophies from 4.00kg to 5kg or slightly more. Accommodation in a hunting lodge with 12 rooms on the territory. 5 professional guides.
- West of Budapest (1h drive), a private territory - quota of 55 trophy fallow deer, 20 selective fallow deer, 200 does and young. Trophies from 3.5kg to around 5kg. Accommodation in a hunting lodge / luxury hotel on the territory. 3 professional guides.

All our Large Fallow Deer trips are customizable according to your availability and preferences.
Typical stay: 2 days of hunting – 3 nights: €1,270 (including outing fees)
Stay with organization fees and harvesting taxes based on the trophy/trophies taken.
Within one of our territories, package stays with fallow deer included are available.

Hungary is part of the European Union, but its currency is still the Hungarian Forint. Throughout the country, even in rural areas, you can use your bank card. Otherwise, you can exchange money at specialized offices around the country. However, avoid exchanging money at the airport—it's very expensive.
In the autumn, the climate is continental, often quite warm and dry.
TOURISM
Budapest, nicknamed the Pearl of the Danube, is the capital of Hungary. This European capital is renowned for its beauty as well as its thermal springs. The city center can be visited on foot. Don't hesitate!
