ITINERARY OF YOUR STAY
For hunting a large and beautiful mature stag, we recommend a 4-day hunting trip – 4/5 nights between September 1st and 20th.
Typical Stay : Arrival day, Budapest with transfers or at accommodation, welcome, diner and night.
Hunting days : Quick breakfast about 5AM, hunting stalking and high seat, back accommodation for a really big breakfast, rest or visit the city, Lunch about 2PM if you want, evening outing untill nightfall, diner and night.
Last day departure after breakfast.
You will hunt stalking and also high seat. In the morning more stalking. Your professional guide will be responsable for estimating your red stag's trophy.
GAME AND TROPHIES
During the rut, the priority is THE RED STAG. A mature red stag with very large trophies in our southern Hungarian zone.
We guarantee the presence of large stags, the presence of our Hunting Pleasure team during your stay, and the professionalism of your guide, who will do everything to help you approach and harvest the stag of your dreams.
In our southern zone, every year, our hunter friends harvest stags with trophies between 9 and 12 kg or even more. The average over the last 5 seasons is 10.45 kg (228 CIC points), CIC Gold Medal. Our record dates from 2016: 16.33 kg (260 CIC points), ranking in the top 10 of the largest Hungarian stags! All trophies are mandatorily evaluated by the CIC scoring office, ensuring fairness. .jpg)

YOUR ACCOMMODATION
For our Stag Rut Hunting trip in the southern Hungarian zone, you will be accommodated in a beautiful **** hotel, in single rooms or double rooms if accompanied, with full board.

Your hotel is located less than 15/20 minutes from your hunting area.
RIFLE AND EQUIPMENT
Importing your weapons into Hungary is easy. No prior request is required; you just need your European firearms card or SIA. On-site, we always have several rifles available, all suitable for stag hunting during the rut, and you will have the option to rent one.
In September, the weather in Hungary is generally pleasant (10/14°C at night and 20/25°C during the day). Light hunting and stalking clothes are recommended. A jacket and sweater for the morning and evening.
TO REACH THE HUNTING AREA
By plane : The destination airport is Budapest. Numerous flights connect the Hungarian capital daily from Europe and all countries in the world. Upon arrival in Budapest, you can either rent a car at the airport or use our transfer service to your hunting area (approximately a 2h15 drive).
By car : From Europe, the journey is mostly on the highway, except for the last 20 kilometers. The destination region is the city of Pécs, in southern Hungary.
TAXIDERMY
The first preparation of your trophy/trophies is included in our prices. However, if you wish your trophy to be caped, you can take the skin of your stag for your usual taxidermist or have the taxidermy done in Hungary.

For hunting a large and beautiful mature Red Stag, we recommend a 4-day hunting trip – 4/5 nights between September 1st and 20th.
Typical day : Quick breakfast around 5AM - Morning outing observation, high seat, stalking - Hearty breakfast upon return - Rest or visit the region - Lunch around 2 or 3PM - Evening outing until nightfall.
Hunting Zones
For hunting a very large stag trophy, Gold Medal, we recommend our large and beautiful area in the South of Hungary.
The area is located 2 hours and 15 minutes south of the Hungarian capital, Budapest. It covers more than 20,000 hectares, fully dedicated to stags and ensuring the success of your trip. The ideal habitat is a mix of plains, cereal crops, and game fields, quite open, allowing you excellent visibility of the animals and the enjoyment of the magical moments of the rut. The Hunting Pleasure team has been collaborating closely with this territory for over 18 seasons now.
The rigorous management of animals and harvesting ensures that you will see and hunt large mature stags.

All our Stag Rut Hunting trips are customized according to your availability and preferences.
Typical stay: 4 days of hunting – 4 nights: €1,650 (outing fees included)
The stay includes organizational costs and harvesting taxes based on the trophy/trophies taken.

Budapest, nicknamed the Pearl of the Danube, is the capital of Hungary. This European capital is renowned for its beauty as well as its thermal springs. The city center can be explored on foot. Don't hesitate to visit!
OBSERVERS NO-HUNTER
Observers are welcome during your stag rut hunting trip. They can join you on your outings or be stationed at an observation tower to take photos and experience the rut. In the region, there are numerous swimming pools and thermal baths available during the day. You can also visit the Villány vineyard, known for producing the best red wine in Hungary...
