ITINERARY OF YOUR STAY
All our roe deer stalking trips are customizable, with durations depending on your availability and desired harvests. We recommend a stay of 3 or 4 days of hunting to harvest around ten mature roe deer with beautiful trophies.
Typical stay: Arrival day, welcome, transfer if arriving at the airport, first outing in the evening depending on the time, dinner, and overnight stay.
Hunting days: Quick breakfast in the morning around 5 am, non-stop hunting until around 10 am (depending on the weather and especially the heat), return to the accommodation for a hearty breakfast, rest or visit, afternoon outing until nightfall.
Departure day: Return after breakfast.
GAME & TROPHIES
Within our large area in the center of Romania, you will see a very good density of roe deer, which you will hunt exclusively by stalking after spotting with your guide. Hunting is only allowed for roe deer starting from 350g net, preferably 400g, and only for mature bucks.
This is an exceptional area for enthusiasts of "very large trophies or those seeking the roe deer of their life." Roe deer of 550/700g net every year!
YOUR ACCOMMODATIONS
We collaborate with several large territories within this central area of Romania. The choice of your accommodation will depend on the selected territory. Regardless, all our accommodations are of high quality (with excellent meals) and are especially close to your hunting area.
Hotels ****, typical country hotels, accommodations with local hosts (often the President of the territory).
Our package includes single or double rooms (if accompanied), full board, excluding alcoholic beverages.
WEAPONS & EQUIPMENT
Importing your weapon to Romania is relatively easy. We take care of all administrative procedures, including the invitation letter, which will be sent to you before your departure and presented at the border for your rifle (outside the Schengen area). Otherwise, we can rent a rifle to you on-site.
The climate is continental. Beautiful, dry, and quite warm. In May, temperatures are around 25°C during the day and 15°C at night. Light hunting clothes, good shoes... a sweater or jacket for the morning and evening. In summer, it’s hot... Don’t forget your swimsuit for relaxing afternoons at the pool!
TO GET TO THE HUNTING AREA
By plane, for our Central Romania area, the two destination airports are Cluj and Târgu Mureș. From Western Europe or everywhere in the world, with your rifle, a stopover is often necessary. Without a weapon, there are many direct daily low-cost flights. Upon arrival, you can rent a car at the airport or use our transfer service to your hunting area (approximately a 1-hour drive).
By car, it’s mostly highway (passing through Hungary and the southern border Szeged-Arad) except for a few kilometers at the end of the journey. However, it’s about 1800-2000 km. Making a stop in Austria is often advisable...
TAXIDERMY
The first preparation of your trophies is included in our prices. However, if you want one of your trophies as a cape, you can take the skin of your roe buck with you for your usual taxidermist, or have the taxidermy done in Romania or Hungary through us.

In Romania, the roe buck hunting season opens on May 1st. There are two main periods: the entire month of May and during the rut (between July 25th and August 10th).
Hunting Zones
Our close relationships in the center of Romania have allowed the Hunting Pleasure team to select the best territories. Each season, before the hunting season opens, we go on-site to check with the guards for good density and to spot the beautiful and large mature roe deer. Based on your preferences, we will select, together with you, the territory that best matches your expectations.
All our territories in the center of Romania are located around the cities of Cluj, Târgu Mureș, and Reghin.

All our roe buck stalking trips are customizable according to your availability and preferences.
Typical stay: 3 days of hunting – 4 nights for €1,300 (including mileage costs for outings)
Stay with organization fees and harvesting taxes depending on the trophies taken.

- The presence of a Hunting Pleasure representative for a group of 2 or more hunters. Otherwise, an English-speaking interpreter,
- The first preparation of your roe buck trophies.

- The harvesting taxes for your roe bucks trophies,
- Delivery of your trophies to your home except upon settlement of the balance on-site (you take them with you!),
- Round-trip transfers from Cluj or Târgu Mureș airport to the accommodation if you arrive by plane,

COUNTRY INFO
Contrary to some assertions, Romania is a beautiful country with varied landscapes, including large cereal plains, vast mountainous forests in the Carpathians, and the Black Sea to the east. Of course, in the countryside, you may be surprised by the dilapidation of some isolated villages and, at times, the lack of discipline of some inhabitants who leave piles of rubbish... But Romanians are welcoming and will do everything to satisfy you.
Romania is part of the European Community but is still currently outside the Schengen area, although changes are expected in the short term. The currency is the Leu (Lei), with an average exchange rate of 1€ = 4.9 Lei.
TOURISM
You will hunt in the center of Romania, between the cities of Cluj and Reghin. This beautiful region is still quite wild, with stunning landscapes for long walks. There are some tourist sites to discover. Don’t forget that the weather is relatively nice both in spring and summer (even hot), so pools are welcome!
